Should I go to Japan?

Hey guys,

So since it's my last year at high school (also at college/university as well), I probably should go on a school trip considering I haven't been on one in 7 years (I'm not joking, our school is fucking hopeless).

But yea theres 2 options.

1 being that I can go to New York and London which would be awesome but the price of the trip is ludicrous due to you have to pay part of the teachers costs. Honestly it's just about double the price then going by yourself.

2nd trip is going to Japan. Now to be honest, Japan has never been a country I have had any interest going to. But first off, the trip is quite cheap ($3k for 2 weeks which includes literally everything) and 2nd of all, basically all my mates are going on it.

Now I would be happy to not go on either but A my parents are basically forcing me to go on some sort of trip and they offered to pay for the majority of the trip so it possibly looks like I'm going to Japan?

Anyone has any thoughts on this? Honestly I'm thinking WTF atm, I just found out there was a spot an hour ago and my parents want me to go sign up tomorrow :O

GO TO JAPAN! I lived in Tokyo for over 3 years. Do they have all the time planned for where and when you will be? Let me know via PM what they have planned and I can give you a list of great things to do and see on your down time. Drinking age is 21 but they really don't ask unless your being an idiot or look scared.
 
:O 21? Oh well I don't know if we will drinking much if were with teachers.

But yea thanks for that I will keep that in mind! I'm going to find out all the details tomorrow so I'll hit you up once I know what the deal is
 
Japan is awesome man.
Lots of interesting things there. Lots of odd (weird) stuff too.
Look out for the 'Second Hand Panties' vending machines. LOL
Lot of other interesting & some weird vending machines too.
 
Go to Japan. I had an opportunity to go when I was 19, and didn't...telling myself I would go later with friends...that never happened. It's something I have regretted my whole life.

As for drinking...you can get beer and sake from vending machines :D
 
DUDE GOTO JAPAN.


I spent about 6k when I went there on my own a few years ago for 3 weeks. So 3k is a good deal. Plus with them taking care of your bookings and everything it's almost like outsourcing.

Do me a favor when you go though. Go the store buy some alcohol and just walk down the street waving at cops while you drink openly. I loved it when I went lol.
 
japan is the land of porn.....AND anime. What other reasons to convince you? And your parents are paying most. I wouldn't even think twice, just go. Maybe Jap girls dig Americans and you can get lucky :)
 
Japan is Awsome! Never been there but I hear the sex appeal is crazy! they love foreign guys! so yeahh go get your mack on ;P

I went there five years ago (teaching English) and I just can't get Japan out of my head. Has been dreaming about going back for ages - as soon as I get my IM business settled I'm off.
 
The second "hand" panties are not sold anymore. Health code changes. How unfortunate! But you can still buy beer from a vending machine. Smokes you need a Japanese drivers lic. haha, they installed scanners. Underage drinking = ok. underage smoking = a hassel.
 
I'd love to go to Japan - I suggest you do it, just incase you regret it later in life and from the sounds of it, you won't be paying too much either! :)
 
JAPAN, my dream is to go to japan, and if you dont go , i swear that you will regret it.
 
Go. Find out where you'll be staying and find a few chicks your age on Skype (put up an ad on forum.skype.com and another on japan-zone.com) before you go there. The Japanese girls I've met on Skype seem very friendly and like to practice their English that way.
 
Go to Japan. I would love to live there, seems like an amazing place with great people, plus, Japanese Girls are the hots.
 
Yeah there is nothing to think about , you got to go. I am getting ready to go this summer and then traveling around Europe after the fact. You will defiantly look back on it if you don't go and say what the fuck was i thinking.
