Hello BHW!
I have currently few similiar sites ranking on top of Google. Im using product locker from AWM and im using a "7$ dollar worth thing" as incentive. Product locker is set to 5 credits, so user need to complete 5 offers to get the prize. Most of them give up after filling out 1-2 offers(or none, mostly) but I had few completed orders. And after that I accually was buying the thing I was offering and sending to user. I was still profiting, as I got more $$ from completed offers, but on the other side my conversion rate is really low (2-3%). I created these sites sometime ago, before I joined BHW. I've done a lot of reading and I see so many people do fake stuff, so I started to wonder:

1. Should I throw out the product locker from AWM and do just regular locker and give them nothing/fake? I assume my conversions would be much higher and I'd earn more.
2. What are the risks of doing so? Do I risk getting banned from AWM and not receiving my payments?
3. Should I get CLP or MCL to blank referer to be safe if I do so?

Hope You can help me out! :)

Conversion rates are relative. For highly targeted traffic where you just need 1 valid click to profit, 20% would be really good. For targeted traffic where you need real work (5 surveys e.g.) or cash from the visitor, 2% and above can often be considered good. For basically untargeted traffic, even 0.5% can be considered good.

IMO, you have something that works, but you haven't figured out how to scale it up. Perhaps you can harvest an e-mail address as the first step before they fill out the offers. Then you can build up an e-mail list of people who like doing stupid stuff online to get free stuff. And whenever you get a new thing that you can have them do, give them another free thing. This is a business model of incent offers seen all over, where the key is to retain your customer and get them to keep turning your hamster wheel. Make enough with your e-mail list and maybe you can hire a guy to program the next popular membership site doing this.

My question may be offtopic but can you tell me what exactly is AWM?

Thanks for Your reply. The membership site was the first idea when I started, but then I got overwhelmed with the amount of work it would take to start project like that myself. So I decided to go easier way - content locking. I think building the list is a good idea tho.
