Should i go for quantity or quality ?

Quality first, you must have a related niche backlinks. Then increase the quantity while maintaining the quality.

Try to have a quality site(high PR) to get back links. Google will crawl for quality not for quantity, because the term of dumping lot of back links has diminished when the algorithm introduced.:)

Make sure all the links you get are from a relevant site.:rolleyes:

The contents in your site should be unique.:cool:
 
I suggest you to go with quality and not quantity. Lots of low quality links will get you in trouble fast. Also be sure not to over optimize your keywords.

yes quality always wins against quantity. i once created 5000 backlinks using senuke and i got my keyword ranked at 3 page of google search. I used angela,s backlink packet on the same keyword and created 20 backlinks and by doing this i got my keyword on the fist page of google search. You can see the difference.
 
Yes of course quality wins over quantity, that is why the quality sites hold all the top ten positions over the spammy quantity sites.....Oh wait a second, think I got that the wrong way round.
 
Start with quality first and find ways to automate that quality into quality, quantity. :)
 
It depends on how you monetize them.

You can either go for a quick blasting scheme with low quality stuff
OR
You can build yourself a reputation and brand slowly with high quality stuff

IMO I prefer quality > quantity...maybe it's just bcuz I'm getting old :cool:
 
I would speak for quality because quality can bring you the reputation which quantity will never do.

Doing off-page SEo is considered as blackhat now.

In term of safety, you need to diversify your links profile and types as well as anchor text.

If you build high quality web 2.0, it shouldn't be any problem.

(Quantity + Quality) Backlinks = SEO

Only Quantity links = Spam --- > This brings fast result, but not stands with Google Updates.
Only Quality links = SEO --- > This brings slow result, but stands with any Google Updates.

So, Now you decide, you want everlasting result or one month result :)
 
Quality and quantity dude! But start with quality first. Then move onto quantity later.
 
Quantity with quality is what you should be looking at.
quality backlinks would boost your keywork while useless quantity or links will just result in Spam.
