Hey there!
We're Ghost professionals in the web development realm. Let me share my thoughts on Ghost. It's amazing, with a nice UI/UX that we love to use, and so do our clients. It's fast, SEO-friendly, and a strong support for creators, publishers, and bloggers. One of its unique features is the built-in newsletter and the ability to lock content at different tiers for various subscribers. In my opinion, it's one of the most visually appealing CMS out there.
However, of course, there are some downsides too. Many people end up with growing businesses and start looking for more and more features. Unfortunately, Ghost is quite limited compared to WordPress and other CMS. We usually meet specific client needs through various hacks and tricks to achieve what they want. Ghost doesn't provide easy template customization, so if you need to add or change something significant, you have to dive into the code or hire expert developers.
To sum it up, we like it and we hope it will keep getting better. Ghost is under active development, and new features are added regularly. It looks like it's the main WordPress competitor nowadays among open-source content management system solutions.
