(First of all, I'm sorry if this isn't the appropriate section, but I couldn't find a better place)
I'm wondering if I should create a product in a niche where I have plenty of knowledge. I'm an affiliate marketer and I'm experienced in media buying, PPC - I know how to get a lot of clicks for cheap.
It's an ebook, covering how to solve a problem that people are facing.
Well guys, this is pretty much it. I would appreciate your thoughts and any pitfalls I might face in product creation.

I'm wondering if I should create a product in a niche where I have plenty of knowledge. I'm an affiliate marketer and I'm experienced in media buying, PPC - I know how to get a lot of clicks for cheap.
It's an ebook, covering how to solve a problem that people are facing.
- There is only 1 existing product and it ranks well for several keywords, but not all of them. I'm sure I can create a better product.
- The target market consist of mostly wealthy people, so I can list my product for a good price ($55-$85 range)
- I can sell the product to anyone in the world, it's not only limited to the US
- Expected average customer value: Product Price + Providing additional services which counts for 2*($55-$85) /depending on the price of the product/
- There isn't a lot of info on the Internet, yet many people are facing this problem.
- Most of the existing sites and forums in this niche do not cover the problem, and monetize mainly with adsense, so I can get cheap direct to site media buying (buying ad space).
- I will actually help people and feel good about it.
- Competition in adwords is non-existent. I checked and nobody is bidding on my keywords - cheap ads
- There are lots of Facebook pages where I can get users IDs and promote to them for a very cheap price, still the sales funnel in Facebook will be even harder and needs to be way more engaging.
- Main problem: Most people do not realize they have that problem -> The sales funnel will be a bit harder, as the monthly searches are not really high (about 195k Global BROAD searches for the main keywords ;;;;;; About 115k Global monthly BROAD searches for the US) <---- Calculating the total amount of broad searches only for the top 6-7 keywords.
- Main problem 2: I might be facing some financial difficulties, as I will need at least $2,000 just to test the waters with paid traffic for thic particular vertical.
- As I really want to provide good value, it will take me... give or take 30 days and I'm a busy person
- English is not my native language
- As the price will be $55-$85, I expect to get many customers sharing my product to others for free.
- As most people do not realize that they are facing this problem, it could turn that it's basically hard to sell
- I have 0 experience in product creation. I'm an affiliate who even haven't sold other people's products. I'm focusing in different niches like dating, gaming, email submits, etc...
- There are 2 free forums, which are poorly indexed and hard to find that are discussing these problems, yet not many people are posting in there. (Which might be good for even more media buying to extremely targeted traffic.
