Hi there!

I have been a Youtuber for half a year. At the same time, I quit my job to start a business (in YouTube).

But I didn't achieve YPP. Didn't make a cent.

My friends told me to give up.They think I have no talent in YouTube.

I feel very frustrated!

I'm confused.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Extremely grateful!

Bro, you have tried only half a year...I have seen people working towards their goal for 3-4 years with 0 results but the hungriness may be more than ever before.
try to find where you are wrong and ask here any help if needed there are 1000s of members here to help you...and remember giving up not the solution
prove your friends wrong :)

if you share you content here, we can give you some guidance

6 months and you give up!
There are people keep trying for years but I see you did a big mistake when you left your job to do Youtube this step only can be taken when youtube make you amount of money that can keep your life on but you left your job too early I believe you must find another job and keep trying the youtube channel until you success
I wish you the best of luck

@Liev , to be precise ,there's hardly any 'talent' required for it ,what you need is A LOT OF HARD WORK . Don't be offended,I'm just trying to help you,but the fact that you didn't succeed is likely because you were very optimistic about it instead of being realistic and work a lot on it(especially on research, whether it be content research for videos , or research on how to rank better and have a higher social presence) .
Do this in a very intense way and success should theoretically be assured(but gradually) or at least your chances would greatly improve. Good luck(or better said, avoid counting on luck) !

I have to agree on the second part of your message, not the first one though. Just because you invest a lot of time into a project, doesn't mean that you will have success. Working hard does not guarantee success.
Maybe YouTube just isn't for him but something else. If your plan isn't working, change the plan not the goal.

If its what you want to do and you enjoy it, then do it.

Could you tell us what exactly your niche? What exactly you want to achieve with this channel? Half a year is good amount of time but to give up it is not as even I am struggling bro after years to make a penny.

When you fail always ask this questions to yourself
Why did you start it?
What you want to achieve with it?

I know it may sound foolish but it is first step to become successful that you have to convince yourself whatever you are doing. And as you are saying your friends telling you to give up then you are may be in wrong company. I am not saying they should always support you all the time but demotivating someone is not a sign of friendship.

I can only advice that take a deep breadth and study deep what exactly going wrong. remember the answers will tell you what you have to do. Take this 6 months as experience and now you know what to avoid. Read the YouTube journey's from the fellow members here and if you found something new just apply that. Ask for help if you need any.

And at the end if you also think same as your friends think about you then you can try something else there are many options bro but just never give up. You never know you will be the next youtuber who will make billions.:)

I think 6 month is not going to cut it, if you have time , make sure to invest in other projects too. ALWAYS DO NOT ALL EGGS IN ONE Basket

Now I don't know about YT a lot, but I'm a great believer in the effort. Just put in the volume of quality content and something should happen. If you're not that great you will see what your talent can get and if you have a goal, multiply the effort for that.

I like stupid simple methods thought.

due, its not about giving-up it is about adapting to the situation. there must be some source of income so look for ways to pay the bills and if you still think you are passionate about it keep youtube as a parallel project. You have to understand that money in IM may come fast for some and not so fast for someone. .

"Giving Up" is the wrong mindset instead simply go back to the drawing board, replan, rethink.
And please don't listen to your friends. If they are telling you to "Give Up" they aren't your friends.

Keep doing what you’re doing man. Persistency is key. 6 months is not enough to see proper results imho.

What’s your channel about? Do you post regulary? You can use the following tool to check out keyword search volume and maybe get ideas for new content:

You can also consider purchasing HR views (but not suspiciously a lot) which can further help out
