I gave a bag of food to a homeless person yesterday, but that's only because I've made smart decisions in the past, such as NOT giving $50 to someone for no reason. What horrible advice, and what do homeless people's blessings have to do with atheism...?

OP, sending the money via PayPal as a service should keep you safe, but things can happen so would love to hear how it went.

I didn't mean to offer $50 in cash to some homeless guy. Also I am well aware of the fact that atheism has nothing to do with blessings. Please read the post carefully. Those are 2 different statements.
I agree on the point of paying the guy with Paypal to be safe but those who don't intend to deliver what they promise won't accept paypal unless they have managed to acquire a paypal ID of that sort. There are bunch of posts on BHW that explains the ways to create a fake paypal accounts and some services tat help you do so.

Anyway, that was my opinion. Let's not drag the issue and argue.
