Its same, you are targeting specific country. The advantage of .my is the URL length and easier to mouth spread your site.

ccTLD's are always the #1 choice for sites targeted for that said country. General TLD's do work, but ccTLD's have more trust/authority in the mind of visitors. There's no SEO benefit really, but think about it from the POV of the visitor.
