Should i get .com.my or .my domain?

    This is my first time targetting local keyword (Malaysia), should i go with .com.my or .my only, and exactly, what is the difference between those domain extension?

    it is shorter and more catchy than .com.my

    Any benefit for .my compare with .com.my in terms of seo?

    .my give more power to target the specific country you trying target common sense :D i may be wrong

    Its same, you are targeting specific country. The advantage of .my is the URL length and easier to mouth spread your site.

    ccTLD's are always the #1 choice for sites targeted for that said country. General TLD's do work, but ccTLD's have more trust/authority in the mind of visitors. There's no SEO benefit really, but think about it from the POV of the visitor.

    Apparently it's not common sense when you don't have a clue?

    Many times tested on MNS. My 2 cents:

    mydomain.com ranks better than mydomain.de

    Id say go with .my :D

    .my easily. Why add three unnecessary letters (now what does that remind me of....http://www.?)?
