PC. I use a Mac for IM and run Parallels and I think it's awesome. But I also do very creative stuff like video editing and graphic design. But for the purpose of IM then I'd say get a PC. But if you do get a Mac it's not at all impractical.
If you are doing any offline marketing, where you need to have a laptop for meeting with potential clients, etc, get the Mac. If you have a Mac you are instantly legit. It's magic and you will close more sales.
Look, get a MAC. i will invest in one soon too. Think about this. I got a friend that had his mac for 4 years and during those 4 years i got 4 different computers. Now he just got new mac that will probably last him another 3-4 which is unheard of for a pc. Speed, stability on Mac's are unmatched. 8 gig ram on a mac is like 16 on a pc seriously.
I really hate macs.
amazing specs for 2.7k bucks?
bro an 'amazing' gaming desktop computer is less then 1000 bucks.
an 'amazing' gaming laptop is 1200.
Who are you gonna impress with your mac? stupid people who like shiny things?
What is the point of impressing stupid people.
come to think of it, why would you even need to impress anyone?
trying to impress people is just demonstrating your insecurity and lack of self confidence.
Yeah, pretty much. Loads of Windows users get so offended when it comes to using a Mac. I've used PC's for over 10 years and I have no problem with it. I just prefer Macs. I don't think it's better.
just plain compatibility, go with windows. Use mac, or even linux for servers etc. You just can't get the right tools for the right job and the support out there is way way better for windows.
You can bootcamp your macbook in order to be able to choose between OSX or Windows OS when your macbook boots up so it's really just a choice of hardware.
