Should i focus on one type of article?

I like news(i read tons everyday) and i like analysis or prediction as well, i don't like product reviews or informative/descriptive/howsto/lists unless i have something incredible to say.

Anyway, do you as a blogger specialize on one type of article? does your job require one or many types to write about?

Go for the market more than your interest. It's true that interest will make you keep doing better but sometimes you gotta bend with the flow to make it.

how can you go for ''the market'' ?


Do you research popular questions, ''how to'' and then write somenting about EVEN IF your blog is a total different niche?
 
In my case, I am flexible and I always go for flexibility and I always see to it that I am open to new ideas. I try to learn to do as many kinds of articles as I can, under as many niches as I can. But I see to it that my identity is never lost in any article I write :)
 
I think nowadays the news that catches headline are those sensationalized news respectively - those that border truth/reality from fake news.
Never endorse or mentioned that you are reporting something fake, as the vagueness will save you a lot of trouble, but those sensationalized news would definitely be a good start, as they can viral anytime easily.
I see these type of news get shared on fb easily.
 
I have a few types of article for my blog. I think, it is help to expand your audience.
 
It seems like everything you don't like is what the masses like. You should learn to be well rounded even if the odds of you writing a Buzzfeed article are low.
 
When it comes to blogging, always cast your net wide. that's one of the key to blogging success.
 
This depends on a number of a factors. Like if you have some readership or subscribers, they would not like to read articles in different formats every time.

If you want to rank for niche related website you should focus just in one niche

If you have a misc / mixed content topic / website, then chanches you ranking are low if compared to the niche focused websites
 
I think it is helpful to expand your horizons. You should focus on the people's interest rather than your skill level. It doesn't hurt to write about different things. You will only get more viewership and your skill level will only increase.
 
you have to write what people want to read, what most people read these days, health, food, lose weight, technology,ect
