I'm writing on new blog about some niches like healthy style and fitness all releated to tech, so I've multiple niches always related to tech and how to use smartphone to stay fit etc.. Should I focus only on one niche or can I focus on multiple niches too? I can rank well articles so I should get good results. I'd like to try multiple niches to have one big blog like authority blog and not others micro blogs, better to focus on one blog and make it grow big?

Focusing on multiple niches is fine however will you be able to manage writing content for all of them. For example, Google has put a lot of emphasis on "quality" you need to be able to write some solid content. If you can manage and this is NOT a problem...then go for it!

I may be wrong, but I think what he's saying is that his niches are all within the health+tech area. So if he had a niche like iphone apps+building abs and then another niche like iphone apps+eating healthy, this will be fine for an authority website with quality content.

Never keep all your eggs in one basket. Lets say you have a multi-niche website and google does some dumb shit. Now Poof your on page 80 and sandboxed. There goes all your income brother. Instead of going through all that mess, Just do multiple blogs and multiple niches. So when the poof happens.... Some of your income will still be intact. Good luck OP!

If you say that you already have some posts about lifestyle but related to tech, you are already dealing with two niches I'd say, and there is nothing wrong in that. You could make several blog categories in which you could post different things but I think that you should have a general idea that links them all together. You could develop a special writing style and make it your signature so as even though you include different niches into your blog, the content remain somehow unified through this particular feature. The main idea is to give the impression of unity so your readers don't get confused if you decide to include niches subjects on your blog. If you opt for an authority blog you should stick to a main core and exploit it at its best, write thoroughly documented articles and create high quality content. So the choice is yours really, it all depends on what you want.
