Should I drop this domain?

I bought this domain 4 months back and started doing on site. As of now I have 6 articles and no backlinks.
I am planning to publish 90 articles everyday.
I am still learning so I watch videos and read blogs everyday. In one of those video,a Webmaster was talking about how we should always check if the domain has been dropped many times. And don't buy the domain which has been dropped many times.
Long story short, I didn't knew this before and when I looked up in whois, it has been dropped many times.
So am i fucked? Should I drop this domain and start fresh?

Looks suspicious , did u check the domain backlinks profile and webarchive?

It has only one or two backlinks, only made by me. And in webarchive it shows only one screenshot from 2011 "visit godaddy for the best value" That's it.

I think you can try to develop it and see what will happen.
Since that domain name is now on new ownership that might help to overcome possible difficulties.
You said you had 4 domains, so you can develop them in batch without spending too much dedicated time for that domain name.
Than in a few month you will see how things are.
