If you have a file named page.php then you upload it anywhere you want on your site. For example, put it in "www.mysite.com/stuff/".

Then, when you want to use the double-meta-refresh, you have the users click the link "www.mysite.com/stuff/page.php"

DMR is not safe for ebay.
Bots can follow DMR.
 
so double meta refresh is the safest way? there is no way they can track where it came from using this? Why doesn't every1 just use this way then?
 
Because it won't redirect all browsers and blank referers are usually suspicious to the affiliates. (Spoofed referers are often better for hiding traffic--but also less likely to work properly w/o careful implementation.)
 
where do you put the affiliate link in that code?
 
Blanking refs will raise more suspicious, go for double meta refresh or cpa redirector guide.
 
Why not just sign up at tracking202.com, cloak it there and the referrer will be tracking202

Only 95% or something like that is cloaked. The rest lake referrer. Its because they use pure DMR without any php check after that.
 
Question:

Is this still working? Because as I try this out between my own sites, I don't get an extra visitor for this in my stats. Or is this supposed to happen?

this is an old thread so not sure anyone is still around. I want to do this same thing. Blank the referrer. I tried this solution and it removes the referrer but I end up with the referrer being set to the URL of this routine and not blank. Thanks. Ed
