Should I disavow backlink from deindexed site?

Backlink site has no more than 10 pages, with no bad backlink profile, nothing spammy, no seo done on it or whatsoever. Can't find the reason why it has been deindexed. Can it harm my site? Should I disavow it?

Google doesn't just deindex websites. Typically it's for obvious paid link campaigns and or link selling from your website.

Just disavowing the links won't do a difference. There should be a Google webmaster message about why your site was deindexed.

Check the Webmaster tool. There should be a message if find the message then take actions according to that.

To answer directly, either you're wrong in the fact that it's deindexed or you need to forget about the domain. No point in disavowing links to a site that's been deindexed, it's DONE.

No point. If it's truely been de-indexed, it's for good reason... and no, it's not buying backlinks. Sites get de-indexed for being part of blog networks as in you're selling links on the site, being hacked (whether you are aware of it or not), email spam coming from site, mass copyright infringement, anything illegal, etc.

If you're not guilty of any of these things, contact google and see if they will answer (they might). Disavowing/reconsideration requests, will do nothing but waste your time.

I dont think it can harm your site, but it doesnt hurt to take down the link.

As a precautionary step I would disavow. Even if it is de-indexed, your link is still on the site. Guilty by association. Just my 2 cents.

if you want to get the site indexed again, ask for a reconsideration request without doing any thing. and then they will answer back with something like..you hve to disavow those links if you want your site to get indexed again or so...
