Should I continue this niche?

Keep building the site by adding new and fresh content. Target specific keywords and rank them on the first page.

even if you sell it, I doubt you would the appraisal that you want. Thus, I suggest that you keep working on it.

If you have already paid for the domain and the hosting, there is no sense in letting this niche site go. With the information that you have provided, it sounds like you have a partial website with some content and new content that was created and hasn't been posted yet. Also, it sounds like you are promoting really expensive products that are priced above $500. If that is true, most visitors will not purchase through your links if your content is of poor quality or if the traffic is not in a 'buying' mood.

You mentioned that you are ranking for some keywords. That's a great start! Many affiliate sites don't make money in the first few months and being that you started the site in January, that is perfectly normal. Are these buyer keywords (best, review, 2016?) or just general "product name" or "product type" keywords? Maybe take some extra time to analyze more related keywords that you can create content with.

Is your website purely product review/product promotion or does the niche have valuable informative articles that could be included to help drive traffic to your website? When reviewing best toasters, it helps to have an article about how not to burn toast. Every niche should have relevant informative articles that will add unique content for your site - further improving your rankings against competition.

I would recommend not wasting anymore money on backlinks to try and improve rankings. That strategy will not get you very far if your content is unable to convert. Backlinks do not create the sale. You will need to create the sale through compelling your targeted audience to click on over to Amazon and buy. Content is king and you need to start right there with analyzing what you have. If you are able to take time away from your real-world obligations, then get back to improving the content that you have. Also, make sure to post those other articles that you have ready to go. More content will also help improve your rankings and you can shedule these articles to post every few days or once weekly/bi-weekly. If possible, create a review article or two of some less expensive items in the niche that are related to the more expensive items that you are promoting.

Most importantly, do not give up! You have results that are showing from the work you have already done. This is the testing phase and a good time to tweak what you have to make it better. Have 100 organic visitors? Set a goal for 200 visitors. Then another for 500 visitors and then 1000. Haven't gotten your first sale yet? Focus on what needs to be improved on your website to get that 1st conversion. Track your visitors....how many have gone on to Amazon from your site? How many items were viewed but not ordered? Tracking is valuable for affiliate marketers and will tell you where your efforts need to be focused.

Last thing I would recommend is that it can be beneficial to have your website looked at by someone with experience in Amazon affiliate niche marketing. An extra set of eyes can often see subtle mistakes or flaws that hurt your site. Trust is a huge factor that helps increase conversions. Is your website and the information on it look trustworthy? Having someone, even a family member, review your site can be extremely valuable to you.

Good luck and don't give up!

OP, you should really pay attention to everything Dawgtown posted above, but that last part is extremely important. Have other people look at your website and promotions sometimes and have them give you an honest critique. While they might not always be representative of your target audience, they can at least give you a feeling of how well your message is being presented.
