Hello guys, My name is piyush and I also run a instagram account with 14.1k followers. I run a quotes page and post just motivational quotes. My posts get 900-1000 likes sometimes 1100. All work is manually done. But I doubt should I grow this account anymore because its not a niche account and i kept working hard on it since from September 2015. I think i can create my own store later when i get a huge following because i want to make it work further after 1-2 years. Should I continue my work on it? Tbh need some motivation as i dont have a job or anything but i just keep working on my instagram everytime. Appreciate everyones suggestion.

you're the only person who should know whether to work on your account or not.

lol, how tf should other people know how you're account etc. looks like to give you an appropriate answer?

1000 likes is around 7% engagement, which isn't bad at all.

The good thing about quotes is the very general and broad audience. They are perfect to grow other accounts with very specific niches.
My quotes audience has boys, I drive them to my cars and babes pages. The girls I drive to fashion or other girly stuff things. And both like my pets....

You seem to be doing pretty good! But since you are not working on anything else at all, I would suggest you to keep focusing on your Instagram account but get a job along side as well.

Never keep all your eggs in one basket!
Start working on creating other accounts and different ways to make money with them.

I would continue building. What are your methods for growing it? Manual follow? Bot? S4S? Organic followers?

With quotes the audience is mostly teenage girls to about 25 year old women. Which is nice because that can help if you run a jewelry or fashion site. What I recommend is keep at it with the 14k, but open up other niches that girls would be interested in, and drive them in. The more accounts you have with different niches the more opportunities you'll have.

yes you should
grow your account to a high number of followers and then monetize it using shoutouts or cpa maybe

1k/15k is a good ratio, keep posting! start trying to rank high for top tags within your niche, that's a good way to grow exponentially

Personally if you are jobless I'd start finding something to do that will pay you soon. Keep growing that account in your free time, but don't allow that to suck up all of your time and be the only thing you have going. Why not start a blog or something, spend a majority of your time on new things and actually start making money?

Experiment with your followers, try to check if they're willing to follow other accounts "on demand". If they do you can simply filter followers into niche accounts. Maybe ask what kind of music they like, and if mostly for example like trap music make a trap music account with short drops or something.

A lot of producers would want to pay you for promotions for example.

I know a way to monetize like hell on these accounts but I can't share it untill I got my own account ready haha.

You have to continue working on your Instagram account.
You never know when your account come back and it became working very efficiently.
