Should I Consider Buying An Expired Domain?

I just started out IM and yet to build my blog. Should I consider buying an expired domain instead of starting all new? I am a player of ponzy websites and is making $500-1000 per month there. But that's highly unstable and I want to explore more fields. I would be starting a usual "tech/make money online" website. All I want to know is DO GOOGLE CONSIDER THE METRICS OF EXPIRED DOMAINS? It would be a huge help for me to choose the right path (Meanwhile, I already bought a domain. But I am willing to spend if expired domain can help to rank faster)

Remove your domain from your post for security reason. Yes, buying expired domain has its benefits, Google considers metrics.
 
I read somewhere that changing the hosting and domain registration name all in a sudden would trigger google's system. Thanks for clearing my doubt
 
Yes, an expired domain would be a great start, especially if it already has a solid backlink profile.

And if I were you I would reconsider the niche.
 
Yes, buying expired domains are profitable and a great way to get a head start against your competition. You should first check if the domain has been blacklisted (google that) and then check the backlink profile to make sure no spammy links are attached to it. If it is not blacklisted and has a decent backlink profile, then go ahead and buy it.
 
I choose that niche just to start my journey smoothly and to get experience while enjoying writing tech stuffs. I am actually 50/50 on it and I would reconsider the niche. I appreciate your suggestion. I think I should place a scanner in flippa to grab best niches. I don't find any other way of finding it right now. And I have decided to buy an expired domain!
 
Yes. Expired domain metrics count. Be carefull choosing them, due to a lot of pitfalls in there. If got question about expired domains , dont hesitate and pm me :)
 
I have had done a small research on the factors to consider while buying expired domains. I came across a website named domcopdotcom which shows some metrics. Am considering buying based on the figures after verifying the backlinks and DA using other tools. Hope everything would go well
 
Expired domain will definitly helps you in effective and efficient manner. But you have to take care about many important things like
- Metrics of domain (Domain Authority, Page Rank, Page Authority, Trust Flow, ETC.)
- Age of the Domain (Old domain helps you better)
- Previous Backlinks of Domain
- Try to find Your niche related name domains ( Exact match domains)

Try to seach useful domains before purchasing it. There are many tools are available, which can helps you to find above things.

Yes, If above all things goes in proper manner, Your domain will be SURELY rank faster in the eye of google.

If you get a good offer, it's certainly worth the buy.
But, you should consider all the factors that edward johnson mentioned in his reply.
 
yes good idea but check out domain niche and backlinks are the good ones
 
You can buy the old domains it gives a better ranking.

Before buying, check that site niche is related to your site.

And also, check the backlinks are in good condition.
