Thank you guys, after thinking it over, I'm going to keep writing and hitting up clients. When I get stuck I'll just look things up, or post a specific question here on bhw. I'm pretty sure the only difference between a successful person and an unsuccessful person is the time and energy they invest into the process.

EDIT: And... thank you to everyone for talking me out of the dumb thing I was about to do. My OP makes me cringe when I look back at it.
