I stumbled across this musician. He's beginning to become quite a success.
For the moment, he's independent, doesn't have an official website.

But his search term is massive - take a look at this:

A .COM EMD is currently available for his name - or whatever he's going by.
Do you think it's sound investment to grab that domain?

what tools you use to find expired domain with traffic?

I haven't had much luck with this, honestly. I need a response as well. It seems that whenever there's a good expired domain out there, it gets swooped up in a second.

Go for it

You think so? I listen to the guy myself. I might buy the domain and approach him. lol :D

Experience tells me that if you have to ask someone else about buying a domain name then you should not buy it. :D

Buy the domain, build an attractive websites. like those how many musicians make theirs. install a instagram feed or anything social feed where he is active. A Spotify player for his songs. etc.
Then approach him for selling it or don't. Just Enjoy the traffic and use it.

Well, I'm honestly still new to this. Thought I might grab some domains and leave them on the side.

I have to tell you, though... everything I gain, I gain from here.

be careful to use a domain with another person name, as far i know you can be sued

I'm not going to be an ass or anything, I appreciate the guy already. I'll try to approach him with a good spirit.

This.

Nope: May represent ( I am not lawyer, nor 100% updated with the current legislation ) cybersquatting.

All the best!

A person’s name is not a trademark. If you don’t use it to trick people into believing you are the artist and/or profit from that then no one can sue you.

Get it.
Build it.
Manage it (get contract).

You can also offer social media services.

Yes, buy it, and charge the guy a monthly to manage it.

Buy it and add some demo content not related to this person and check stats after a while.

I've read this before several times... Do some research before you approach him.
If it is risky, build it as the "unofficial" Fan Club site. Wait for them to approach you. You'll likely make more money that way too. Alternatively, put it up for sale for $100,000.00 (or whatever makes sense)

@pocketttt in your op what program/site is that a screen grab from?
