Should I buy GSA or Scrapebox?

I've had great results with GSA SER, but I'm using Scrapebox as well for finding more targets. If I had to chose, I'd buy GSA first because it can work good enough without Scrapebox.

That said, I'd totally advice you to have a captcha solving software/service, because that's mandatory for GSA if you don't want to sit there solving captchas on your own all day. There's even a GSA captcha software available, but I'm using Captcha Sniper (which is supported by a lot of tools). Has been working very well for me (but it is another investment).

Anyway, I use GSA for tier 2 and scrapebox for scraping and rank check but it is getting hard to find google passed proxies so I hardly scrape now.
 
I like SB personally. And i do think its priced right even if you are on a budget.
 
I am deciding if I should buy either one of these packages. Just worried about the proxies thing.

Is it a problem to get proxies for Scrapebox? How to get proxies that will pass under Google's radar?

ScrapeBox has its own built in proxy scraper and checker.
 
Both are important, but if you go for GSA, which I would recommend you to, you will need additional services. Captcha breaker, vps, proxies and all.
 
How much it would cost me If I buy GSA along with Captcha breaker, vps, proxies and all and where do i find them. If i buy scrapebox then do I need any other soft for backlinking?
 
Both programs are vital and also they compliment each other very well!
 
I know the thread is a bit old, but I'm sure the topic is still highly discussed, so I'll post anyway.

As of right now, I have limited SEO knowledge. I know the basics, but have never been really successful with SEO. Not because I didn't know what to do, but because I mostly did reselling and other stuff, which didn't really require me to rank my website, because my traffic was coming from different sources.

So, as a beginner, should I invest into GSA(+captcha breaker, VPS, etc.)? I've heard quite often that you need to know how to set it up and know the right links, etc., etc. and I really don't feel like buying a potentially great tool, but without a list or configuration which will cost me another xxx$ it's useless.

I'll mostly need it for lower tiers and creating 3 tiers for churn&burn sites (life expectance of 6-9 months).
Is GSA the right tool for this task and for me?

GSA can scrape and build its own list. Regardless of if you bought everything, you would still need to know how to use it. The best thing to do is buy the basics, and jump in and work on a test site and get your feet wet and learn as you go. I learn by pushing buttons and measuring results. Then I know "how" stuff works and once I learn the how, its just a matter of testing various options and reading around to learn what I need to do. Then I can make the tools do whatever I need to do.
 
I use scrapebox for all kinds of different tasks and don't know how I could get along without it. I have to confess I don't use GSA, its just not part of what we do in our office but that doesn't mean that it is not a valuable piece of software for most.
 
Think very well, Analyze why you need it.. Watch Tutorial Video and decided which one to buy.. if not .. you might bit your finger...

I was wondering if I'm able to learn by using the tool, or if I require a lot of knowledge beforehand.
 
You've to optimize your GSA SER settings to post on only high quality (non-spam) websites. GSA SER is amazing tool, and I'll highly recommend it. You'll also need scrapebox for a lot better results, as it's amazing for link harvesting and it can do a lot more better results than GSA SER on those things. GSA SER+Scrapebox=Wombo Combo
