Should I block AhrefsBot from my main site?

Hello - I occasionally see referral clicks from ahrefs.com in my logs. That means my competitors are checking out my pages after discovering them in Ahrefs. Should I block ahrefs from crawling my main site? Has anyone done this and would following the disallow instruction here have the effect I desire?

Any ideas on how to block Neil Patel's ubersuggest? Is there a guide to blocking other sites?

I know it is common to block these crawlers for PBNs, but that's not what I'm asking in this case.
