3 hours ago i received the below email from [email protected] .. Should I be worried about this email what action do i need to take? ofc, i would like to have my website still live but if there's nothing i can do then so be it.

here's the email:

This site is hosting content that appears to be a violation of your terms of service based on suspected fraud and that our client would like removed. We have included our client?s request below.

Since you are confused, do as they said. Contact them, but be wise so you don't get scammed or fooled.
 
I would call that number and talk to them to clear things up. Make sure you ask some good questions. Gauge a feel from there responses and make sure you don't get scammed.

Respond to them: "I will remove, sorry", and do nothing :D, from the other hand, they are not court, to tell you what to do (I'm not lawyer).
 
They are working in behalf of Facebook??? Ignore them.

seems like some bullshit to me,I would just completely ignore this and keep doin what you are doin.
 
You seem to be only the 3rd or 4th case on their (or whoeverelses, who are supposed to be working for FB) hands while they are "working" for FB on such or any other cases!

And that line should've been that law(?) firm's standard opening. I think they just started yesteday...

I think that by this time, a similar note would have gone to at least a thousand if not millions of websites all over the world! No one else seems to be working on FB's behalf in such cases apart from those jokers you got that email from!

But may be I am wrong! lol. Just consult a lawyer as I have never gone to a law school to get its degree myself...

P.S.:
But on second thoughts, and if you're an American, and if there indeed is a fraudulent case involved as they said, then take down the content as it has been noticed by some scammers (that law firm. lol), and they wouldn't hesitate to take the matter up to FB just to teach you a lesson...

pretty sure if it was an actual legitimate company working on Facebook's behalf you would get a much more professional looking request from a lawyer not some broken English email from a clear scammer.

I would completely ignore the email, if they follow up with a more professional and persuasive email, maybe contact them, but until then, keep at it!

If you have to resort to scamming people to make money online, then just stop.

The email means nothing is just fearmongering... but still you suck d*ck.
 
It's bullshit, if it was legit you would receive a letter or nice knock at the door
