So my site has been pretty stable in recent months, it is ~ 4 months old,
been averaging 2500-3000 daily hits since the past month #4 ranking, been stable in rankings for the past month ... anways, this past week I have been avging record highs ~ 3000 hits daily, when suddenly, I wake up today,
and I think I am deindexed ~ only hit 800 hits so far?

Not sure what is going on, I did not do anything to my site recently (ie. no blackhat blasts or unregular activity)

Ugh... not sure what is going on

If you were deindexed you wouldn't be showing up in the search results at all. Did you try doing
Code:
site:domain.com
?

okay, I checked google and I am still on the same spot, ( i logged out of my google accnt before checking)

But for some reason, the traffic is gone , it seems like I am still on same spot

Are you using any analytic tools (Google Analytics, GetClicky, etc)? If you are, be sure to check how much traffic each page is sending you -- not just the homepage. Additionally, it could have just been one of those "slow" traffic days. I have those every now and then and it returns to normal a day later.

hopefully it is an abnormality for today , i'll see what happens tmrw , *fingers crossed*

If your website is suddenly gone in the search result. Just simply wait 2 or 3 days. Usually that is when the Google experiment on "something". Your website will be back to normal spot on 2 or 3 days. That happens to me too.

It seems my site is still on google, same spot, but traffic is still only 1/3 of what it was :(

i have no idea why the sudden drop in traffic, the past couple months, been stable throughout ~

Did you check your rankings with cookies disabled? Like with Chrome's incognito for example? Cookies can affect search results and just logging out of your Google account won't fix this.

It happens some times, so you do not have to be worried about, this is really normal practice. Please let me know are you back on the traffic?

i use google analytics ~

the only change was #4 to #6 , but when I was around that same spot before
i don't recall losing that much traffic ~ ... hmm

Whats the site? You dont mind sharing it in PM so I can take a look?

This is a factor for a site like mine. I had like 100 visitors and it fell down to 30-40 a day. I dont know why, still same rankinng on first page.

But are you looking at all of your inner pages? Your rank could have changed for those. It sounds like you are only checking the rank of one page -- the homepage??

I stole your traffic. If you pay me a big reward I'll give it back.

use a tool like market samurai or rank checker or something to make sure the rankings are still the same...a simple google search in your own browser is never accurate, even if you have logged out of your account...
