Should I be concerned?

Hello,

You have been using an SEO company from India to promote your site on
the internet.

They joined a forum in Massachusetts, added the web link to your site in
their profile, made a post with a link to your site, and left it at
that, assuming Google bots would find the link and assist in your SEO
ranking as a result.

The user has been removed from that forum by me, and their information
(username, IP address, email address) has been added to the
stopforumspam.com database.

You might want to consider whether you are getting real value for money
from these dodgy SEO ranking companies in India ? it?s easy to generate
traffic to a website with a bunch of links all over the internet in
forums and blog comments etc, but how much of that traffic is actually
relevant to your business?

Don't worry about it. One submission to the spam database is not going to hurt your website. If that was the case, everyone will be sabotaging the competition.

It just sounds like the forum manager is really uptight..and possibly holding a grudge against Indian SEO companies or Indians in general....
