One of my clients recently got this e-mail

The contractor in India has done 160 hours of Link building work for the last month. This is the only complaint we have gotten. They have ensured me that the techniques they use are only White Hat, but doesn't Google consider any technique that modifies search results that isn't organic to be "Black Hat?"

Don't worry about it. One submission to the spam database is not going to hurt your website. If that was the case, everyone will be sabotaging the competition.

It just sounds like the forum manager is really uptight..and possibly holding a grudge against Indian SEO companies or Indians in general....

Thank you. I'll use a Link Checker to make sure the links they are giving me are still up. I'm very happy with results as we are ranked #8 and #11 after 1 month for what i consider a moderately competitive keyword. Told the client to expect #20 to #30 so he's happy.
