Hi, I have a small Youtube channel with around 400 subs. I have been contacted by two sponsors. I know it's rare for a small channel to get mails from sponsors but yeah, this is what it is.
One is asking me to make a dedicated video on their product which is 100% related to my niche. I did one already. I got a very small amount but fine according to my views(And I need it).

The sponsor is now again requesting another dedicated video. Should I make another dedicated video again or Should I ask for pre-rolls? (Sponsor is reluctant for pre-rolls).

How much do they pay vs how much does it take for you to make the video compared to how this video will helo your channel growth? Compare 2 situations where you either make the video you wanted or make the sponsored one and see which is more beneficial for you.

I told the sponsor that I will make the video after a couple of weeks. I think this way I won't overdo it and also gain some benefit.

I remember when I was getting plenty emails by advertiser's who wanted to display on my website. Then I had money and never bothered to reply them. Now I need cash badly and they are no more sending the mail's.

Lesson:
If you need the cash, foe it. Just one video won't hurt. After their video, you can follow it up with 2 videos of your choice, topuah down theirs almost immediately

Don't make dedicated video.. Advertise them for 5 seconds in the video.

if your channel is small adding content will do you good, who knows maybe in the near future that sponsor will be more profitable. Just keep working on that relation.

If its okay in your niche get offer from sponsor with 400 subscribers, you should accept. If its rare get money for advertising, you should accept, too. No, I'm not wrong. In both cases, it's better to take the advertiser's side. Subscribers on YouTube won't unsub that easily. Interval between commerc video and everything will be fine.

I asked about them for the pre-rolls. One agreed but on the condition of one dedicated video but I refused it at that time. However, the second sponsor is not accepting pre-rolls.

The products they want to advertise, my viewers are actually interested in them. However, the problem is that the sponsor is not accepting pre-roll in videos. Only fully dedicated videos.

Just do it again. If it was me that's what I'd do.

Do it, build a relationship. As you grow you can re-evaluate the terms of your arrangement.

I'm not going to say much too much about it but contacting YouTubers is smart and mutually-beneficial for both parties if done properly.

I completely agree... build the relationship. Won't hurt.

If you need money, accept it.
I do not recommend you to seek sponsors before your videos reach 10k+ views. Focus on producing more content instead.

I think if you have a few video gap in between it might be a good idea. It's more important to keep you members happy then your sponsors...in the long run anyway

did you have many interactions on your videos ?
