I have a friend who got into some things.... and now this girl is pissed...

she has his cell number (prepaid bought at walmart with cash)

and his

gmail (which they have been going back and forth with)

she is talking about tracking him down..... what can she do.. and how hard would it be for her?

Unless he revealed any personal information about him, from what you gave the only way for her to track him down would be getting his private information from his ISP. She would most likely need a lawyer to send a subpoena for that because ISPs (well good ones) do not give their customer's private information out so easily.

How did she get his phone number? Is she someone he knows?

Well if it was that....then she needs to go to the police with all of the information. They will track him down.

Is the cell registered under his real info?

Many phone companies will give phone records to law enforcement simply based on a request, without needing a warrant (its written in the terms of service when you sign up).

Now, whether they will actually bother is largely depending on what exactly "went bad".
If he did something violent to her... then probably.

They would be less interested if its a civil case, such as if he borrowed $$$ and didn't give it back.

From the two messages he left there were only five things I could think of:

1) Drug deal gone bad.
2) They decided to do some amateur porno and she is now claiming to be a minor, so he's on the hook for kiddie porn now
3) Porno again, he promised a piece of the action online, and she hasn't seen anything, so now she is after him.
4) They met online and agreed to have sex. He went over, did the nasty, and now she is pregnant looking for support.
5) Same deal as #4, they did the nasty, but he was already nasty, and left her with herpes.


All in all, from what little has been shared, I get the impression that she doesn't have the option to go to the authorities.

Hmm... I don't think its either 1), 2), or 3), based on what he wrote:

Since he is asking about if police can get his info, I doubt its a drug deal "gone bad". Usually those matters would be resolved in other ways... I don't think the girl would be stupid enough to call the cops and say "Hey! This guy didn't pay for his ounce of coke!"

If it was drug related, maybe they did drugs together... and she ended up at the hospital because of an overdose or bad reaction and is now blaming the guy for "forcing" her to take the drugs.

Unlikely to be porn, since he said she doesnt have pics of him.

As for rape, maybe it wasn't exactly forcible rape, but the guy came to her house, girl got wasted on alcohol or drugs, and now she is claiming that he "took advantage of her".

It was $ for sex and it was only over 250 and she got crazy when she wantf to change the arrangement and now she says she has cop friends etc - it was a pre paid cell paid with cash and no name or address etc and he has att dsl - if she has so called cop friends what could they really do or would they risk their job etc? tell your friend dont worry.... She's all fluff right now.. The smutt will eventually get over it..... She aint going to the autorities wit this... She will be arrested aswell.... Now that i think about it, ive seen ppl in high school get punk'd for their weed and told the principal...smfh

Nothing will happen. Here's why:

Assuming she was an escort (which are legal in most jurisdictions, as long as you don't mention the words "sex for $"), if she told him $250, and then when he came to see her wanted more money, the guy just left, it is considered a "commercial dispute" at most, and not a criminal case.

Think of this, if some dude says they are selling their laptop for $250 on CL, and then when you go buy it he says its $400... You tell the guy to fuck off, and leave. You certainly have not committed anything illegal.

If she was dumb enough to mention "sex for $" anywhere, then it becomes illegal (in the USA at least, don't know where you are located) and her getting the cops involved in this would be the pinnacle of stupidity, similar to a drug dealer going to the cops because and saying "Yo Wazzup G! This dude over here promised me he was gonna buy some weed... but then he backed out. Yo dawg! That aint fair!"

Either ways, the "I have cop friends" line is simply an attempt at extortion to make him give her more money. She might as well be saying "My cousin Guido is in the mafia and he'll break your legs". Total BS in any case, no cop, even a crooked one, would want to get involved in this type of thing.

Next time, if your friend wants sex for $, at least do it with girls that he knows already... or use a reputed escort agency, not some random girls off CL or something... many are greedy and will try to pull off stunts like that to get more money.

Yeah, the whole I have a cop friends if bogus. People can say anything to get their way if they are messed up like that.

I actually remember an episode of COPS where I guy called 911 to report a robbery, someone stole weed from his house. Needless to say, they showed up, he continued to rant about how they stole his weed, and he was arrested. Even then the guy was totally confused as to why he was the one being arrested when it was someone else that robbed him.

The whore just needs to shut up and find another trick.

He is mortly worried about a pc geek or cop friend that could supply an address for her to find someone to do something etc
