I'm wondering, should a press release be spun? My natural inclination is that many companys put the same press release out to many sources, but thought I would ask those experienced with this.

    Thanks

Everything should be spun, or else you leave a footprint, username, name and last name should also be spun.

no, you don't need to spin a press release. That's the point of a press release is to get picked up by the press and put all over the web.

While it's true that you can spin Press Release as well but I would not suggest you to do that because Press Release have various points indicating to the company for which the PR has been written and may be that points don't suit your company or site.
