Short vs long videos?

Wich one would be better and why?
Short let's say 2-3 minute videos posted often or long 10-15 minute videos but not very often?

i'll go with 2-3 minute videos posted often.. but if your 10-15 minute videos are killers, you should try them
 
I'd say it depends on the niche, and what you're trying to achieve...
 
just make sure that they're high quality. short or long, doesn't matter.
 
I would go for short videos. But I believe you need to get it to 10 mins to be monetized on youtube
 
If this is for Youtube, then longer videos should be better.

8-10 videos are favored because of ad placement.

With at least 8 minute videos, Youtube lets you put Ads wherever you'd like.

Of course, there are no absolutes and this is just from my experience :)
 
If you feel the content you have is really engaging with your audience 10 -15 mins is not an issue. Else go with 2 to 3 mins..
 
Depends on what type of content we are talking about.

Sport, in general, will always be #1 for me personally and 10+ minutes videos are ok.

If your content is a killer, people will always ask for more... 3 or 10+ minutes it doesn't matter if the content is solid.
 
It depends on the content if you have interesting content then video duration doesn't matters
2 - 3 mins if you are new channel it gives high retention
8 mins video gives mid roll ad placement advatange so more ad revenue
 
In my opinion, if your video content and video quality is good, that is better. There is no difference between short and long, but I think it's better to give less extra large videos.
 
Depends what is easier for you?
If you like to make shorter ones make them if linger then go with it!
If you like both combine them

for SEO it doesnt matter as long as they are watching at least 50% of your video

For me if its a branded channel (trying to build a following) 10 min or longer is better.

if simply trying to get as many views as possible I like shorter videos
 
It depends on what content. Ideally 8-10 minutes. During this time, you can place up to 3 ad inserts.
 
Long one because of new YouTube rules which allow more mid rolls, and it goes without saying theyll promote more long one to earn more after all money is a priority for them lol
 
What's the most convenient for you. Usually, longer videos tend to perform better, but if you don't feel comfortable, just go with shorter and more frequent uploads.
