Has anyone tested short video ads (Scroll) and seen improved conversions vs image ads? What were the results?

I have tested it, the results are very good, customers now tend to buy through reel

I’ve tested running short Scroll video ads and seen conversion rates about 20–30% higher than static images. Viewers tend to linger longer and interact more naturally, especially when the video simulates a real experience instead of just showing a product.

Yeah, short video ads often outperform image ads by driving more engagement and conversions—especially if they’re snappy and capture attention in the first 3 seconds!

Short videos grab attention better and usually convert higher than images, especially on mobile. If done right, they boost engagement and lower CPC.

Yes, short video ads usually perform better in terms of engagement and CTR. They capture attention faster than image ads, especially when optimized for mobile viewers

Short video ads have a clear advantage in terms of performance, especially when targeting mobile users. They have the ability to capture attention instantly and often deliver higher engagement rates and CTRs than static images. More importantly, if done right, short videos can not only drive conversions but also be an effective solution to reduce CPC costs

If you are going to use short videos:
Good for awareness/engagement and when you want to tell a story or need a video to explain a product.
Images are still great for direct conversions, especially when the message is simple, the user already knows the brand, or you are doing retargeting.
Video length, hook in the first 2-3 seconds, mobile/vertical format, and optimization for conversion are key to making a video effective.

In my experience, short videos usually get better engagement—more clicks and longer watch times—but conversion improvements aren’t guaranteed. It depends on your niche and ads.

I’ve noticed that while short videos can boost engagement, combining them with strong call to ctions often makes the biggest difference in conversion rates.

Testing various video lengths and formats helps find the sweet spot for each audience there’s no one size fits all.

I find it more effective, more clicks, short videos are the trend now

Absolutely! Reels are king: they're more engaging, cheaper, and more effective at closing deals than still images. Don't miss out on their power.

I tested it and it works a bit better! I recommend taking advantage of it since reels are still trending.

Short video ads typically deliver better conversions and engagement than photos, but can also cost more. Depending on your goals and audience, try both video and photos to see which works best.

Yes, short video ads (scroll ads) have been shown to outperform image ads in terms of conversions. For instance, a leading consumer electronics retailer in France experienced a 175% increase in conversion rates and a 134% rise in revenue per user by integrating onsite video alongside display ads

I've tested short video ads which have improved engagement, but it's not always certain that they convert better than single images.
