Short lifespan EMD

Hi all.

I've recently purchased an emd related to the forthcoming 2012 Mayan apocalypse (pfft). The keyword itself has 10,000 exact local matches and is of medium competition.

It obviously has a short lifespan, as when the conspiracy theorists and the mentally unstable wake up unaffected on December 22nd this year the website will be pretty much obsolete, unless I can work some kind of funny edge on it. Anyway, my question is what is the best way to monetize such a thing?

If there's nothing I can do with it then so be it, it was just one of those keywords searches that lead from one thing to another which eventually led to this. And whilst I had a godaddy coupon burning a hole in my virtual pocket I thought I'd make some use of it.

Affiliate programs for gold/silver, freeze dried food and seeds might work. There is a cross over in the 2012 doom market and the general doom market.

That's actually a really good idea. I thought of making it a bit jokey, a kinda pisstake of the doom theorists; but then adding ration packs and seeds and other things to it could work.
