I'm actually seeing this strand quite a bit.
A lot of established channels with hundreds of thousands of subscribers are mixing things up when it comes to their content.
They would have YouTube shorts right next to longer pieces of content on their channels.
I definitely see this trend becoming more and more popular.
There might be something to it, otherwise these big channels wouldn't bother to do it.
You might want to do the same.
But of course, pay close attention to the tags that you're using as well as viewer patterns because at the end of the day, your YouTube channel's success depends on how well you cater to the actual needs of your viewer base.
