Need help with making a shopping website, if anyone could suggest me any scripts and how to get credit card authorization set up on the website would be helpful, thanks.

If you don't mind paying, try Shopify for $29/month.

Aside from helping you build the storefront, they let you accept credit card payments (or plug into external payment gateways).

You can try using WordPress with WooCommerce plugin, you will find many tutorials on Lynda , or other websites or you can try magento/shopify, If you still need help, I can do it for you. My skype id leethost , you can connect to me.

I tried Shopify but it is a little expensive for me. Magento is good and you also can use Prestashop.

Use bigcartel, it's free for 5 products and the payment processor is paypal

rent VPS.. setup with nginx, mariadb and php7 for server.. also use letsencrypt for free ssl..
you can use prestashop, wordpress + woocomerce or magento..
to accept credit card, you can use paypal business, authorize.net or stripe..
