Is anyone using shopperpress with Amazon Associates. I am trying to get this setup properly but, the cart is giving me issues. Actually the prices. The problem is, that shopperpress is pulling the lowest price for an item (which might not be from amazon, but from someone that sells with amazon). When they add this to their cart, and go to check out (which transfers them to amazon), the price changes to what amazon sells the price for. Any thing I can do to fix this or has anyone else come across this?? Thanks for any help!!

    anyone?
It has to do with the way that ShopperPress is calling the price from the amazon API, but I have no idea how to change it

It's unusable in 5.x. Use the Catalog Website w/o cart instead ot try with the new 6.1 beta.
IIRC, ShopperPress 5.x doesn't use the API. The products update is limited to 10 products per hour.

I am starting to realize this, but getting ahold of 6.1 is proving to be tough.

I've paid for shopperpress and been using it on and off for about 5 months, it's a good concept but its execution is terribad, especially importing products automatically. Hopefully it works itself out eventually.

I used ShopperPress in one of my amazon sites, but i gave up using it for a few reasons:

    1. when I publish the page, it would show the price (on amazon) at that time, but for some reason I can't update it. so it's really not good for customers to see a price updated months ago!

    2. duplicate content issue - I have to manually edit product descriptions, otherwise it would pull out content from Amazon.

Shopperpress is horrible and their support sucks. You should see if WooCommerce works for your needs.

Good topic. I was just about to purchase shoppers press and wondering how well it integrated with Amazon. I have several niche sites that have over 400 products on them from Amazon, all automatically imported via wp robot. I'd like to upgrade both of these sites and make them look more professional. I had counted on editing the product descriptions manually. Are there any better platforms like SP out there for WP?
