Hi i have doing shopify for a short period of time. I have tried different niches and primarily focused on the FREE ITEM just pay shipping method but i have had literally 0 success. I really want to make this work but i feel hopeless. Is there anyone interested in mentoring me or going into this business along side me? thanks!

Whats the part you are getting stuck with? - getting customers to come to the page, the page conversion rate or the actual products your "giving away" ?

Everything if im honest. I was getting a lot of reach and a few hundred viewed my page but none added to cart. I then changed niche and adverts are very expensive with barely any reach and no conversions. I want a working method to get me started.

Mentoring is really helping you do something better. But you have to have something that exists first in order to be mentored and at this stage you don't.

So you first need to be mentored in business. That I can do in 4 steps.

1. Find something that people want.
2. Find out how you can deliver it to them at a profit.
3. Work out where they are so you can tell them you have it.
4. Work out how your going to convince them to buy it from you.

When you have worked all that out - then you can be mentored - until then you cannot be.
 
Its most likely a product that nobody wants that you are advertising, pick something really cool and target the right group of people.

Hey I just started on shopify as well and i got my first sale a few days ago. What i did to start seeing more results was really better ad targeting and writing good ad copy plus niche selection of course. The key is selecting a niche and targeting the right people. Make sure to really pay attention to targeting i cannot stress that enough. And write an ad copy that makes them want to take action right away. And track everything. See who is clicking, pay attention to website analytics and see where people are dropping off and fine tune there! You will be successful man, just keep at it!
 
Most of the people on the shopify facebook groups recommend video ads. just an idea.

I just tend to focus on psychological triggers like scarcity (act Now) ( Limited Time) or maybe put emphasis on things like (Free Shipping) or (affordable) Just do some searches for examples. That and good sentence structure, nothing crazy, but try to look at it from the consumers point of view & give them a reason to click!
 
go to facebook and search for the product keyword to find related fan page, if you dont see any page with 5k-20k fans, then the niche is too rare and no one will buy.

if you are using paid traffic, just go after hot selling product.

How much time did you spend researching your niche?

Are you getting your traffic only from one or a few places?

Did you write COMPELLING product descriptions that MOTIVATE people to buy?

Have you used FB insights to laser target interests?

There are so many questions that come to mind...
 
I am thinking to start a shopify business too.
Anyone good with it and good with Instagram ads? I have ideas about what to sell. We can cooperate.
