Shopify?

Setting up a store for a retailer. They hope to generate around 1 million in online sales. I want to design the site on WooCommerce, as that is where I have experience and can optimally rank but their Marketing team insists on Shopify. I've never worked with Shopify, is there anyone that can offer some advice before I get started.

Take the free trial and check it out, it was quite easy to customize, some of the premium themes are available to download for free. I haven't used it beyond the trial and when I did there was the secret option to create a developer account with unlimited time free trial option (looks like it's still there https://help.shopify.com/en/partners/dashboard/managing-stores/development-stores), for the regular account you had to start paying pretty quick. Shopify isn't a startup, so their systems should be pretty well developed, at least I didn't encounter any issues with the few hours I spent working on the store I never launched. Just register and click around.
