Shopify without facebook ads?

Is it possible to have a successful shopify store without paid advertising? (at the beginning at-least)
I want to use some 45-60 days trial but I don't know if I can make it work. (I basically have the most basic knowledge on shopify, and most of the guides\courses are pretty specific to fb ads.

Was wondering if anyone could share his opinions please! thanks.

I'm not a huge success, but we net about 1-2k per month. We never use facebook ads because I found they dont work for our niche. Most of our sales come from social engagement (twitter, instagram, and facebook) nothing paid. I have tried PPS and ads and I never got much return, but man, twitter can bring some serious cash when you hit your stride.

So you would say a good social media following and other free strategies can get me sales? like should I do it and start my journey?
 
Well, it can come down to your niche. SO make sure you put in the time to pick a good one. I would start right away building your social media base. Get out and like and comment on people that are interested in your niche by searching. Make sure to fill out your bio, pic, and get at least 3 good VISUAL posts up. No one reads anymore, give them shiny pictures.
 
You can do it successfully if you do proper SEO or you utilize social media in other ways besides paid advertising. You can use FB and instagram pages to build organic followings and then advertise your product. This way is much harder than doing paid advertising though as it takes much longer and it is riskier if you don't know what you're doing.

It doesn't matter.

All you need is traffic, it doesnt matter where you get it from but you need a plan. So figure out how you are going to get traffic, will it be SEO, influencers, shoutouts, google ads, youtube ads, pinterest.

The options are endless.

The only thing that matters is the amount of traffic and the quality of traffic. Bot traffic wont work, untargetted traffic wont work either.

Make Your own Page , Share some posts into equivalent groups .. with Q & A Style ..


[ Guys , What do u think about this product .... ]

Make Instagram Account for same niche, Use Bot , Post about the niche, Follow..Repeat , then promote product

Twitter ...
