hello . i have done some tests on a new products that im dropshipping i get over 120visits per day and only 3-4% who add the product to card without anysells . btw i drive traffic from my instagram page "instagram story"
what does this suppose to mean is the product not selling or its a normal number considering that people swipe up fast and check
any advices

3 - 4% add to cart is pretty low. May be the product or the website flow. Keep testing!

i use paypal as payment gateaway but i dont think payment is the issue because as i said they dont add to cart so they dont reach the payment page . also the price i dont think thats the issue because i only charge extra 2$ + the product cost 7$

that what i think too because i did everything right also the price i made it too cheap just to test the product . i guess i have to change the product

yeah it too low i will keep testing . do u think it can be niche issue
btw the rate of people swiping up from story to store is high
 
Could be a niche/product issue, or the website flow, maybe your IG audience isn't interested in that specific product, maybe they're too young and don't have access access to a credit card, could be pricing, or 100 other different variables.

The only way to know for sure is to keep testing.

Could be many reasons but consider adding another payment method, testing different kinds of related products (changing text & pictures), adding trust buttons.
If you have add to carts then you're doing something right, try to check the funnel after the user add to cart, I think you lose significate amount of potential buyers when using paypal only.
Btw from which countries your visitors are coming from?

Usa and europe
 
Your traffic is too low, increase it first.
 
Have you tried to offer free shipping and increase your price to cover the cost.
 
Since you have the visits and you haven't the sales
So I think the problem is in your site
Maybe the price is expensive, maybe the shipping price is expensive
or maybe people don't truqst buying from you because you haven't the terms and privay policy pages
