Currently, I have a WordPress webshop with the Woodmart theme through WooCommerce, but I am experiencing significant page speed issues. This problem seems not only related to the theme but also to the many bugs in Elementor. Now, I am considering moving to Shopify, but I am concerned about the implications for my SEO and the future. Is Shopify actually a better option?

Shopify is a better choice for e-commerce
Move to a faster host as well

I use a very high end server on aws instance, it are really other things.

But i am worried about the seo.

Dump elementor.
Woocommerce is cheaper and flexible. Shopify costs more but is a bit more convenient. Take your pick.

Have you installed Litespeed + Redis cache?

You can try Opencart CMS . Have many modules and many people who for low price will write what you want.

Use paid theme like Flatsome or something and woocoomerce + WP rocket will make your site speed faster for sure. Shopify is good one but costly option.

I like Shopify because it is focussed on providing a great store with everything you need but SEO wise it could be worse.

Shopify if you are on the hurry is best. Straight forward you can do your store almost in no time.

Check out https://prodigycommerce.com/ built for wordspress.
My clients love it!

Yes, do you have a nice ecommerce theme with gutenberg ? Can you give me your top 5 ?
My recommendation would be to switch to a Theme that is compatible with Gutenberg editor rather than Elementor.

The issue may not be your WordPress site but rather your host. However, having said that, if you're still experiencing slowness despite having a high speed host, Shopify may be better option especially since you're running an eCommerce site.

Shopify Better. I prefer shopify because it's specifically made for ecommerce. Wordpress has elements that are for e commerce and there are many things which requires a developer's intervention to change.
