Hello,

I am starting a new online business and one of my main marketing channels will be through SEO via blogging. I know Wordpress is the defacto platform for blogging and it makes sense to use that platform with woocommerce to create a shop with blogging functionalities. However, I hate how clunky woocommerce is
and the checkout funnel for woocommerce does not stand up to shopify sleek checkout process. Shopify is really great at selling and they've built a huge database of users from across all of their merchant's customers so they have a seamless quick checkout process that has pretty much everyone's information. I've done some A/B split testing
between a optimized woocommerce store and a shopify store before and the conversion rate for shopify store is 2x - 3x of woocommerce conversion.

So my question is has anyone had great experience with blogging on shopify and how does shopify's SEO compare to wordpress/woocommerce SEO? Can I achieve the same organic ranking results on shopify's platform?

I found that I couldn't afford to keep using shopify, as not every project works, so its just easier to use woo, there are many good themes you can use, but yes, I agree, there isn't really that many that give your store the same complete shopify experience, and sometimes you have to adjust the template too.

Its better to use woocommerce.
WooCommerce is more flexible. WooCommerce is free, but comes with extra costs, including hosting, a domain name, and security. use woocommerce forset up a passion project that requires lots of personalization, wanting to build a large-scale online store selling in numerous regions and who is technically competent and want greater control over your site’s design and hosting

We recommend installing WordPress on your Shopify store subdomain to run your blog. Ex: blog.websitename.com

Wordpress and Woocommerce all day long
