Hello,

I've never tried Shopify before, so I have a few questions:

What are the most important SEO things to consider with Shopify? Aside from SEO content on all the main pages; home page, collection page, product page, etc?

Home pages have the biggest SEO impact and the keywords that are on the home page are the effective to rank for. However, I have about 6 collections that I want to sell, so each of these collections will have its own page with content, and the associated products will also have content. But what do I do with the home page? I have these 6 main keywords/products, each with its own page, but which keywords should I push with the homepage?

Should all collections be on the homepage aswell?

yes shopify SEO is all about optimizing your collection pages along with individual product pages,
Make sure you interlink properly all the collection pages so it passes the link juice.

Rest for the SEO you can create foundation links with the guest posts on home page as well as the inner pages.

So interlink from collectionpage to another collectionpage and from homepage to all collectionpages, right?

What about the homepage? Do u optimize the homepage also for some keywords? SEO Content on homepage aswell?

Focus your homepage on broader brand keywords and use it to guide visitors to specific collections. Each collection and product page should target more specific keywords. Definitely feature your main collections on the homepage for easy navigation.
 
I think you need to strategically incorporate your main keywords across the site, including collection pages and product pages. For your home page, consider using broader keywords or phrases that encompass your overall brand or niche.
 
Shopify SEO is all about optimizing your collection pages along with different product pages.
you have to carefully interlink them with each other to get the best benefits from them.:)
