Hey i hired someone to do seo for me and in 4 month he didnt manage to index my website and said its shopify issue and said it will take time

anyone experience with this ?

I've always managed to get my store indexed. Not necessarily all products but homepage, collections and about us/privacy/tc pages are always indexed?
Just by submitting your sitemap you should be good

This is very odd. Shopify sites usually get out of sandbox quicker than WP for example and 4 months should be more than enough for any site.

The issue is either with Google (the late indexing issues) or you got ripped off with the money (highly unlikely because all Shopify sites get indexed once you remove storefront password - Of course your on page seo needs to be on point too)

Has anyone had a good experience hiring someone to create content + optimise for SEO on their Shopify blog? I'll be launching in a couple of months, and starting from ground zero, looking for some advice on the best way to start generating traffic...

If you have already started your keyword research, getting content written for you shouldn't be hard. The copywritting section of the marketplace is full of sale threads. Personnally I would recommend @armur. He really helped me setup my blog when I first started. I was after engaging content and not only over optimised text. Getting something people enjoy reading is in my opinion more valuable than what peopel call "optimised SEO" content. Google values what people like and not the other way around.
