Shopify SEO no rank updates in months

hey guys, i've been running some great rental PBNS for a few months with no rank update at all. It would been great if I saw 4th page rank update or anything but no.

When i first created the site, I was ranking on page 2 for a competitive health keyword just using a few services here.

I then created a few inner blog pages, as the months went by and this actually created MASSIVE keyword cannibalizations according to a comrade on this site as shopify's default <Title> and meta tags copy and paste globally and was very tricky to change for inner pages for some reason.
This along with a back button script that would sent people to the product offer if they decided to not stay on the homepage -- Blocked rankings! (bad user experience google not like we think)

These have been fixed but just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of how to recover Shopify sites SEO specifically??

also minor problem possibly, Should I remove a few random products that might hurt relevancy from the product page? those random products are not linked anywhere else on homepage or otherwise.

Roll with it. The "damage" has been done but it isn't putting you down further, if you've had no updates in months.
Unless the search engines have taken your site out of the results, take the lesson and build it back up; in the long run this will help you anyway.

Take the lesson and do it again, but better.

I run a shopify site and we're sitting stable on the first page for our main keyword.

I haven't noticed any of the cannibalization that you've mentioned on my store.
