I'm considering dropshipping with $0.... however if someone purchases a product from my Shopify store, would Shopify payment allow me to utilize the money to buy the things for him and add his postal address to AliExpress straight away? or should I wait a few days for it to appear on my card?

I think it takes 3-7 day for shopify payments to deposit the money.

according to my understanding, you want to deposit the money immediately to buy from aliexpress and deliver the goods to your customers
unfortunately it doesn't work like that with shopify. i cant remember how its exactly done anymore but it takes a few days until you can get the money on your card. so starting a shopify store with 0$ can't work, you need at least some money to deliver your customers

it depends on your payment processing method, I'm using paypal and I get the money instantly, I use my paypal balance to buy the product from supplier !
do you use paypal on shopify?

You won't get the money instantly. Your first payment is also delayed slightly. As someone said above, using PayPal you can have the balance right away but if you are just starting out, I don't suggest paypal as they are very strict and will hold your funds whenever they feel like it.
