Shopify or woocommerce?

Woocommerce... add CiviCRM, jitsi-meet and an email server behind the WP and now you have a psuedo-enterprise system... find a company to resell the upkeep through and add on a service contract and you're good to go... Site sale + recurring upkeep revenue.

Go with woo in my opinion. It's not as difficult as it may seem and you can always ask for technical support if you need it. Whereas shopify is expensive and it depends on your goals really. If you plan to generate $300 per month than shopify is not for you.

I use bigcommerce only $30 p/m and they didn’t take a cut of your sales, and you don’t have to use Wordpress...

interesting actually I just noticed my theme for my site got Woocommerce , just that i dont know how to do the necessary stuffs

also come products , and customers ask for refunds if goods they don't like etc how it done etc...and orders how the delivery go etc misc factors

+1 for woocommerce

You still need to invest some $ to buy good plugins (or use gpldl.com or @Festinger's vault) but there aren't any monthly subscriptions that are present in shopify. Probably there is a bit more legwork involved but worth it in the long run.

I'm a little worried about using GPL vault plugins on an ecommerce site where you'll be dealing with customer payment info.

Shopify is a bizsnatch because they ban you without transparent reason. With Woo, you don't have spies if you have a winning product, but I believe any ideal product on Ali has been tried on FB by now.

I genuinely prefer Woocommerce just because it's easy to use and highly customisable with plugins. Then again, I've been using it for years.

Woocommerce for sure. It's highly customizable and I think it's cheaper than Shopify if you're an webmaster. The paygates on Shopify can also be used in Woocommerce

Shopify if you are a beginner with no Wordpress skills. Otherwise WooCommerce.

My vote will be shopify, it is simple and ready to reach customers

Tried ecommerce some time ago and in my opinion shopify is for startes much easier. If you aren't really talented in webdesign/dev. i think you will have much more success with shopify. Also you can just use the affiliate version where you have no monthly fee until you sold i think 10 or 50 units. So really good to test out and make your first bucks.

I am always choosing Shopify as it is very user friendly and you can also install many useful apps.
