shopify gurus im clueless..

Hello,

since i always had a dream to start a shopify shop i finally did it.

Went to courses, read read read read.....about FB ads.

I made a few ads. Some bad in beginning...but now i think im doing OK.

Im getting clicks on my ad. but no sale...im into $700 mark now for spending on ads and i know it takes fails to success...but now im really clueless...What am i doing wrong here? Please give me a hand..

Without seeing what your store looks like its hard to say what the problem is.

I was doing the same one year ago. Shopify + FB ads.

Forget Shopify if you are new to the Internet marketing game. You want to pick one thing, one specialization and become master at it before expanding.

With shopify you will need to master traffic, branding, CRO, product research, all the headaches with shipping and so on. What shopify guru's won't tell you that you can send traffic to ecommerce affiliate products. So your job is to master traffic part while the network and merchant takes care of the rest. Or you can start from the another end. Create a product, become good at CRO and let affiliates bring you the traffic. In that case your job will be to become excellent in CRO, product research.

Personally, I think droppshipping is not for newbies despite that the courses are being promoted like anybody can do it easily with no prior experience in IM. Biggest dropshipping gurus were themselves just an affiliates promoting other products. Once they got good at it, they started they own brands with the help of Shopify. But gain, it bears repeating. They already had experience in IM before doing Shopify.

There are people who only specialize in FB ads and they earn 6 figures a month easily. But you want to do it all since gurus are saying it is easy just to sell their courses.

I think without premium theme or less creativity it's hard to make any sale.. Content is the king but in Dropshipping theme really matters..

i see more stores on the free shopify theme and without any content, only pictures for product and this stores have sales

May be you're in a saturated niche or doing the same what others are doing..

It could be any number of reasons:

• Store not set up 100% properly
• Items too high priced
• Ads not targeted to the right people
• Products too odd
• etc

If you send a link to your store we can check it and give advice.

Maybe it's because these shopify gurus bring new competitors for you every day. Maybe you should use something else than fb ads.

I have been into affiliate market for 4+ years. But this was just a fun idea i had and why not do 50/$100 / day? that would be enough for me

I have had a guy who does $700-1k a day at shopify. He said my site looks good and price is OK.

I think its my audence that is the issue! or yea target....

Today over 80 visitors and a few email subs but no sales.

Are you targeting wc purchase?
