Hello, thank you. Well since you're waiting to sell your accounts, I would suggest creating and growing an account on a niche which you will use to monotize OGads account on. Reason being is because growing accounts takes quite some time and people trusts you better to click your link in bio. What's more, when you grow accounts its much more unlikely for your account to be banned. Since i stopped OG+IG method, I've been playing around in mp and grow accounts. As I was growing accounts for no reason at all, I just thought of just trying out putting one of crakrevenue offers to my bio.(I do not do direct linking btw). So these are the results from earlier this month after I put the link in my bio.
It's not much but I'm automating the growth, posting etc so it's really great to get something when it's autopilot. Since you're doing OG+IG, you can really scale this up with more accounts.
I did a lot of mistakes when I was doing that method as I was just spamming accounts and not growing them beforehand. Accounts get banned 1 after another and it wasr eally stressful. Yup, it's nice to see fast money and easy cash but would you rather do it short term or do it a long term?

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I last updated. Reason is due to I was very busy for the last few days and I didn't have time to even update this journey thread.
First thing first,
I've got my first sale yesterday! Woke up to this and it really made me feel more motivated. It may be just a lucky sale, I don't know but it somehow put my hopes up. This is just the start and I really feel I can really push it harder.
What have I been doing for the past few days?
Basically, I've been sleeping at 8-10am every single day since I started this journey. I usually would wake up 3-4pm and continue working.Except for 2 days which I head out in the afternoon(yes with 2-3 hours of sleep lol
) then I would start work at around 10/11pm when I'm back.
After my last update, I stopped promoting my website. Instead I was looking for people to work with me. Since I plan to start this from scratch,
it means I have no money right so how can I hire them? That's when I thought of making a deal with them. I'm not gonna say on what I offer them but there's a huge different ways you could get someone interested such as offering them sample products for free promotion etc. The list is endless
So I started finding people on different websites, social media and I even email some of them. Most of them don't reply but I have some who are really interested in what I offer. Good thing is a few of them have good social media accounts. Like for example, one of them have a 19k account followers on IG and have a good 10-12% average engagement ratio. I know it's not a big account but hey, it's better to have much more options to promote right? Once again, take note I have not paid them anything. I just made a deal with them for the future.
So as you can see in the screenshot below,
I have not promote it myself since last update so there wasn't any much traffic from Mon-Wed as I was busy finding people to help me promote. Things got better on Thursday after some of them started posting on their social media and help me promote by linking it back to my store profile. Even though it feels impossible, I've decided to try my luck as I really feel there's nothing I could lose. No one knows who am I so I really didn't care much about my 'face'. I'm really glad I did though as it made me friends with some people. I'm really hoping I could work them for a long term.
What am I planning to do now?
1)Traffic
Since I've not been promoting myself, I plan to continue later on when I wake up. I plan to do the same things which I have talked about before as it have brought me traffic at the start of my journey. I'm finding different ways to get traffic currently so I will probably read and research on my free time.
2)Social Media
Following my plan in my first post, I've been growing accounts to be linked back to my store. Below I've attached a screenshot of the current stats of the accounts, which I've highlighted in the red box.
I only had concentrated in growing these accounts and not my main store account so I went ahead to edit and update my store IG account. As you can see on the screenshot, the last instagram account which have 14 followers(17 now actually) is my store account. I've also made the posts on my store page with a theme so it would look clean. I really love the layout! Big thanks to
@IGKing as his ebook have really helped me alot in learning more about instagram.
A few hours back,I received this PM from a random person.I'm guessing she saw my store being promoted on the other's social media account which is helping me promote.
I'm still quite shock and happy actually to receive this PM. As it made me realise that even small store with followers will get messages like this.
She have a good views and followers on youtube so I will probably sponsor her some stuffs to be promoted there
in the future. Right now, she is only helping me to promote through her IG account.
For twitter, I don't use massplanner for it since i always have blocks through it. Instead I do things manually for engagement etc.
On my store twitter account, I use IFTTT to automate postings from IG to Twitter. So whenever I post something on IG, IFTTT will post the same thing for me on twiter. I've also change to settings on IFTTT to not follow my IG captions, instead I set a standardized tweet for all my tweets which is being posted through there.
I'm also growing a general account which is currently at 700+ followers. I'm planning to promote my store once I grow up to a higher follower count. I will also add more twitter accounts soon.
3)Website Updates
Ever since I've changed my theme, my website speed have increases. My last theme was 1 sec+ but it was ugly as hell and look sketchy and that's why I changed it.
After I changed it, mywebsite went from 1 sec+ to 7sec. It was due to the slideshow, banners etc. I've removed the slideshow, changed some html settings(which I took a long time to find a guide on shopify forums). I'm also compressing my pictures size manually. As I have more than a 100 products in my store currently, I have to edit it one by one through shopify. Some of my items are from a supplier in Aliexpress so since I imported them through oberlo app, I had to save the pictures myself, head over to tinypng to compress my sizes file then I reupload them to the respective products. I have to also add the product pictures back to the variants.
Currently, my store is at 4sec loading speed but I'm planning to bring it down.I've time myself and in an hour, I could only edit 6-7 products on average. So it would probably take awhile before I'm done. Furthermore, I'm adding in 3-5 new products daily to update my store.
I'm also thinking o edit and add in some new features in my store. I will update if I plan to do it
It's been 8 days since I launched my store live. I admit it's been a hard journey and tiring since I lack of sleep. My body and back has been hurting since I sit for to long infront of my laptop. But the truth is, I'm really enjoying it. I enjoy adding new products, editing my website, talking to people, learning and finding different ways and methods on how I can bring people to my online store. I guess enjoyed it because I'm really interested in this niche and I like it a lot. I know some will this niche is saturated and it's hard but I rather do something I like, instead of going for niches which I'm not interested and seriously no clue about. Yes I can research about it but if you're not really interested in something, would you really bother in learning?
Even though I only had one sale up to now, I know that it will somehow get better in the future. I just have to keep on trying and working on it. Thank you for reading and I promise I will try to update this thread again soon. I hope all of you are doing fine and have a good day.
