Shopify + Dropshipping From Scratch

Hey, congratz man, you are doing really good! When you say you buy from supplier from AliExpress, how did you started "doing that" ? You contacted the seller of the products you were interested in on AliExpress and asked him to directly supply you ?
Also, how do you determine your prices ? Thank you very much ! :)

For a newbie like me, this has been a great read! Keep at it!

Thank you! I hope that I somehow shared something which helped you :D

Interesting, Keep updating us!

I definitely will!

Hello there, thank you! Well, I'm not doing Aliexpress supplier anymore if you realise as it's my second store now. I used my old supplier which I stayed in contact with, which I got a few years ago through sourcing out. Aliexpress is more to resellers than suppliers actually, it's fine if you're dropshipping but since I'm doing my Old niche, and that I import everything to myself, it's better for me to get straight from a supplier which have his own factory.
Now for aliexpress, when I was ordering on Aliexpress during my first store(when I created this thread), I did pm them to ask if I could dropship and then I send the items to my customers.
For prices, some people may disagree with me actually. I know most people would just jump to the competitors prices range and compete with them as it's a much higher profit. But I do however only make it to 2-2.1x of the actual products I got :). I always have this mindset where cheaper= people buy from you. Plus I'm below my competitors by so much. I could earn 3x or more but I don't really mind that as I plan to be the cheapest in this niche.

really instagram is a goldmine,
i can believe those sales has came from 1 instagram accs or 2,

I definitely agree with ig is a goldmine if monotize properly. April stats has only been with 1 IG acc. I scale up to 3 currently on May

Are you in women niche?

Kinda. My niche is stated in one of my updates.
What vps do you use to run massplanner?

When I first started out massplanner in late september, i use amazon free vps then went to greencloud and another vps i forgot my name. But I realise vps is very laggy when you scale up to alot of accounts. I'm currently using my gaming laptop since it have a better specs. I run it 12-16 hrs per day since I'm mostly on my com working so thus it's a much better choice and not laggy at all :)

Hey bro, Im planning to start one soon :) Good job, this has helped me. Thank you.
I just wanted to ask you are you using PayPal, I am banned from Paypal? Will it be a hassle using other payment gateways for customers?

Hello! That's great, i really hope your shopify store goes well.
Well on my first store, I did use paypal. But when I switched to this new store, i stopped paypal and only have Stripe & Bank deposit.
My local people prefers paying my bank deposit more. Thus I know how my local people are, they would rather have free items so paypal will be a risk.
I don't think it's much of a hassle actually to have credit card up, as most people who are lazy to bank deposit will pay with card and most of my orders are from there :)

I like your yourney, good luck!

Thank you very much!

i need little help in shopify can some one please help me

I've already replied your pm. I'm sorry but I don't think anyone could help with what to sell or leak exact information about what they are selling.
It's more of a try and error. You have 30 days to try on shopify trial, if it doesn't work out for that store, close it down and create a new one :)

interested, Good luck with your journey sob

Thank you very much!

hello following this journey i have made a store can some one please check it and tell me is it good or not ?

Hello there!
Yes I'm doing F/U with Massplanner. Nope not all day, I usually stick with low settings. :)

Hey man! Thank you very much! :) And congrats to you too my friend.
I totally agree, the excitement when you get the first sale just keeps you driving for more.
Yup, I did F/U and the 1/2 Punch method which I learned from Gramous Ebook. :D
I have not yet did any shoutout to my shop account as I currently don't have any niche account based on my country.
Although I grew alot of other niches, my shop is only for my own country which is Singapore so I can't use any of those niche accounts.
I will make a few this week and grow them then!

Thank you very much!
Sure thing bro :)

Hey man! Thank you very much.
Well, what I could say is just go with it once you got the important parts down.
It took me quite a long time to get started as I thought reading would made me learned better.
But trust me, doing it will make you learn so much more :)

If you're not going for the Ads method, don't worry about spending money actually.
I would suggest you growing social media account right now before you even start as that will be a big boost for you when you launched your store as you already have a fan base.
Plus when I first started out, I only invest $10 on domain in namecheap.
Although you could get the $1 from Godaddy :)

You're welcome! :)

Hey there! Thank you very much :)
Yup people in Singapore HARDLY uses eBay. Most of them would use Qoo10(Gmarket) or Carousell.
I'm not sure about amazon since I myself don't use that for my own personal things.
I highly doubt that actually.
But then again, carousell is more to meetups.

Thank you bro! :) That's great, I'm sure you would succeed man! Don't give up and keep on hustling!
Yes that's quite true once you get the right products.
But I'm not dropshipping anymore actually, I imported the products from my personal supplier myself and then just mail them out:)

SHORT UPDATE
6tmwif.png

A good start to the week when I had 3 orders with a total of 5 items on Monday.
I got one sale yesterday, April 26th.
Really glad to see that everything is working out so well!
I'm not gonna update till the end of the week since I'm gonna get busy settling up accounts to boost up my main store account in IG. I'm also gonna do my SEO for each products as I have not done it yet. Still figuring that out actually but I hope I will get it done ASAP.
I will update at the end of the week! Have a good day everyone :)

Congrats on the successful journey man. Do you mind sharing what was the deal you made with 90K followers accounts and other IGers for your old stores? and mind telling more on 1/2 punch method?

I very much agree! Experiment and you'll see what works.

Hey man! Nice to meet you. I wish you goodluck in your internship :)

I totally agree on that! IG is a very good traffic.

I'm living in Singapore. Sg is in one of Stripe's country too.

Nope bro, never did aborted it. Never did had time to update since I was busy doing the this site.Hope you understand :)

Hello everyone!

Sorry for the not updating for quite some time.
I ended the first month of trial with $90+ USD profit.
I was quite happy but I feel it wasn't enough as I made a mistake on not growing my brand first on Instagram.

With that profit I paid my monthly payment of massplanner and proxies(as I've been growing ig accounts in other niches too since late year).
I also paid for shopify fees for the next month but I kind of stop everything due to personal thinking. As I said, I realise I made a mistake on not growing my instagram account first. Currently it's at 700+ followers and I have 3 other accounts in the same niche supporting it.

Even though I did paid for the shopify payments, I'm gonna stop the dropshipping and I'm doing something similar. I use to sell(in the same niche in my local market but not with Shopify. I know there's not much competition here so I'm gonna aim for that. I'm sticking with the same supplier when I was doing this before as his price is one of the cheapest and his quality is better than the rest. I also partnered with one of my friend and splitting 50/50 profit, since I need his help in quality wise and it's always better to have someone to help you with wrapping and mailing as I remembered I was suffering in the past while I'm going to the post office with so many items just to mail them out.

So for the past 2 weeks I've been editing my store and adding items in. I'm also growing my IG account in the mean time. Luckily for me, I never deleted the pictures of my past batches order which I took with my phone and uploaded them on my IG for proof purposes.

I launched my new website yesterday, 13/4/2017 and it got my first sale which the person bought two items.
Take note though the currency is in SGD and not USD while I was doing the dropship.

My friend and I was actually quite shock at even getting the first sale and the customer bought two items at once. :) Profit is only around half of that. It's a good start and I'm hyped for more. There is still so many items to be added to the store and well, I'm gonna add at least 5 items per day manually.

My IG for this is growing quite fast than I expected. I also have a twitter fan based account for this at 300++ currently. I'm gonna make a promotional tweet soon since I realise most of my local people in the teens/young adults are using either twitter or FB but I'm not gonna go to FB ads.( maybe in the future? idk but not now).

Alright that's all for now, wishing all of you a good day ahead.
Any tips for noon like me got a shop and a Instagram account for 3 weeks no sales but got myself 700 followers

Hi i've replied!

Thank you very much! Well, for that maybe I can talk to you on skype :). For the 1/2 punch, I apologise as it's from the gramous ebook which I don't want to leak out any part of it.

What shopify theme do you use?

It's a personal custom theme :)

Well, what I would suggest is maybe having promotion like buy 2 get xx amount of discount or etc.
That's fast in getting those amount of followers as it will may your IG shop look more legit.
Although to me selling in IG depends on the quality of the followers. Maybe you can try targeting those quality people from your competitors.
If they like something over there, they definitely would like yours.

UPDATE.

I apologise everyone for not updating or being active anymore.
Ever since the first month of good sales, I somehow made a mistake and that I thought I could still get that kind of income even when I'm not doing anything.
So yes, like most people out there I started to slack off and really not doing anything with this store.
Instead, I try to look other things to earn like working outside and trying different methods.
I may earn some extra bucks from those other methods but somehow lately, I regretted not focusing on my store as I know it got a lot of potential.

Here are my stats for May and June.

As you can see above, my sales went down.
I have no one to blame except myself though.
What I'm planning to do this week is to change my whole targeting and focus on free advertising.
I've not been active posting on my IG so currently, I've already prepared a whole bunch of products which I took myself(from customers orders before I send them out) so I have an IRL picture of the product.
I will update this weekend with the things I've done for the week :)
I hope things will change and improve.
