SHOPIFY Cloaking (Payment Gateways)

Hello all !

Has anyone here ever had SHOPIFY Stores with payment gateway: Shopify Payments, Stripe (or any other payment processor) blocked because of selling branded products without authorization / license / Replicas etc..

And then:
• Shopify store suspended?
•. Payment gateway suspended?
• funds held or frozen?

Even without counterfeit — just “grey area” reselling.

If it happened to you, I’d love to know:
• what you were selling
• what exactly happened

I feel like this is way more common than people think…

Would appreciate your feedback

You're absolutely right. Shopify accounts get burned frequently, especially if the cloaker isn't configured right, which happens to newbs all the time

But many people don't know that there are ways to sell borderline products, replicas, etc., using payment processor cloaking. It's only after their account is suspended that they start looking for solutions.

I had a NRL Jersey store here in Australia - it got taken down due to copyright - now shopify, google has been restricted and ads arent allowed to be run now.

Seen your comment under this original post and I am very curious as to how I can start back up again

Cloaking works well with WordPress. Selling replicas on shopify is not a good move.

This is seriously a whole mood when it comes to shopify and payment stuff. It feels like everyone's had a scare or known someone who got totally frozen over selling branded goods or even just grey area finds, it's such a headache

With good methods you can easily sell replicas wit Shopify without be blocked / suspended
