I know that the main goal of Shopify platform is to sell your own products or at least Drop-Ship them. So the whole principle of affiliate marketing contradicts the whole concept of retail online store. But if let's say i'm going to pay for traffic via FB ads, why not place the banner(peerfly etc) which is relevant to my niche on my Shopify store? Is it technically possible?

PS I have zero knowledge in SEO, content writing or growing websites naturally.

When you sell your own product or when you are dropshipping profit margins are much higher then in affiliate marketing where you are actually advertising other persons products and get commission for doing so. Both types of business has their pros and cons but if you are doing dropshipping you would not your visitors that you pay for (via FB ads for example) distracted by some affiliate banner or adsense or whatever that will drive your customer away instead of converting it in the first place what you are paying ads for and that is to purchase product/service that you are selling. So, instead of let's say making $15 per visitor that purchases your product you will be making $1 per conversion at CPA network. It's completely different business model.

Yeah imagine someone entering your website and to see them being filled by spammy ads which can turn them off and drive them away instead.
