HELLO,

i'm from morocco, shopify payments is not supported in my country.

Can i use llc to apply for shopify payments ?

Go to Settings > Payment providers and check what is available for you in your country. If nothing you can probably still accept PayPal.

I have similar issue, I am from small EU country and I can only use PayPal or setup LLC with 2Checkout, but I have read that they are pain in a ass... + I have high taxes in my country...

Anyone has some recomendations?
 
Setting up an LLC in the US is easy, it's the banking element that's hard.

Some people have had success with Payoneer in the past, however I am going to be surprised if this works now.

There's lots of work to do after the set up. I'm getting my C corp instead of LLC and now see tax, lawyer, accountant etc. requirements come after the setting up a company in the US.

I heard 2checkout can be integrated which accepts paypal. Not sure if that would be a good choice as there are discussions against this too.

I genuinely don't understand why you would do this.

It's the most complicated, tax inefficient way of doing business in the US.

You could set up an LLC in a state like Wyoming, where the reporting requirements are minimal. You only need to provide names/addresses and the company can be established in 5 mins.

If you are the only member of the LLC (recommended), then you could register it as a disregarded entity with the IRS and you would not be subject to any US taxation as long as you do not have dependent agents within the US.
 
you cant use shopify payments if you dont have local bank acc in supported country

Yes you can, but your issue is banking.

For Stripe, need to set up a USD domestic account that can accept ACH transfers. This is virtually impossible to do with a domestic US bank, without being physically present in a US branch. The only alternative is virtual providers, like Payoneer, but I am not sure if they are working with Stripe.

I asked both shopify payments + Stripe, they do not allow payoneer bank account.

so i'm doomed !!

I just want to receive my money!

I need to do this because I want a bank account to be opened under the company name. And stripe doesn't offer LLC formation along with bank AC.

Do you know any company who offers Bank AC + LLC formation in Wyoming? I need registered address because I want to make it a complete registered business accepted by Amazon, paypal, US authorities - means I want to be complete white hat with a solid business foundation.

If this is what available in Wyoming LLC I have no problem starting on there.
Please share your experience
 
There are loads of companies that offer a virtual mail service. This is perfectly acceptable for the IRS/Amazon etc.

Setting up a US based bank account for merchant processing is not straightforward. It's simpler to just use a non-US merchant account that can wire you in USD rather than ACH transfer.

For Amazon, it's easy to set up an account with Payoneer, World First, Currencies Direct etc.

It means use a non-US based merchant processor. Shopify allows many different processors to integrate into their sites.

Oh! i already use 2checkout.. i want to use shopify payments or Stripe !

You can try Currencies Direct. According to their page here https://www.currenciesdirect.com/en/business/online-sellers/faqs, their online seller account is able to receive funds from Shopify and Paypal:

I don't know why people are fighting for Stripe - they don't want us, so open european merchant account in some company, there are many, I've found in 5 minutes in Google - Cardinity.
